Line Accepted By Mayflower Society

Note:
Robert Lee Yeager, III is the son of Luella Doughty, who was a daughter of Homer Cecil Doughty Sr.   Robert Yeager is a first cousin to Homer Doughty, the above noted testee in this DNA project.   Robert  has documented all generations on this chart and proved it is correct to the Society of Mayflower Descendants. He and his descendants (whomever applied) are members of The Society of Mayflower Descendants.

The first 4 generations (Edward, Samuel, James, and Benjamin) had already been approved by the Mayflower Society. The proof consisted of census records, birth, death, marriage certificates, wills, and other court records showing disposal of personal property. A few newspaper articles were used (possible three in total).  They were always backed by public records such as death certificates, etc.  Robert found one application from his great grandmother, Eliza. for a pension for Alexander Doughty’s service in Civil War.
